Hi there, I'm, Sarah!
I’m a registered Creative Arts Therapist and primary school teacher who loves helping kids learn, grow, and feel good about who they are. I work closely with children, families, and schools to find creative, compassionate ways to support every child — especially when things feel tricky.
I now call Bendigo home, but my work has taken me all over Australia. Those experiences taught me something important: connection comes first. When kids feel safe, seen, and understood, amazing things can happen.
No two sessions look the same — and that’s exactly the point. We might talk, paint, squish clay, move our bodies, laugh, drum, or just sit quietly together. There’s no pressure and no “right way” to do therapy here. You or your child’s comfort always leads the way.
I support early learners, primary-aged kids, teens, adults, and families, and I have a special interest and experience in helping with:
Big feelings, sensory overload
Friendships
Neurodivergent support (including ADHD, autism, and PDA profiles)
School challenges like anxiety, transitions, or “school can’t”
Building kinder, safer classrooms where all kids can thrive
Working alongside parents, carers, and educators so everyone’s on the same team
Life stuckness
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: play, movement, music, and the arts help us say what words sometimes can’t. Starting with relational connection and creating spaces where all forms of communication are welcome. Whether through mess, laughter, creativity, or quiet moments, I’m here to walk alongside you as you build understanding, confidence, and a deeper sense of connection to yourself and others.
